FAQ

What is the Decisions API?

It is an OpenAI API that evaluates text, images, and JSON and returns typed answers: a probability (predicate), a fixed choice, or a score against ordered levels. Requests go to POST /v1/decisions using model gpt-6-luna.

What are predicate, choice, and score questions?

Predicate checks a condition and returns probability from 0 to 1. Choice selects one of your fixed options and returns that value plus confidence. Score rates input against 2–10 ordered levels and returns a probability-weighted average score.

How many questions can one request include?

According to the official docs, up to 400 questions per request. Shared evidence goes in input; each question has its own type, name, and instructions.

Does this page call the API or store my key?

No. Typed Answers Helper only builds JSON and curl in your browser. It never uploads an API key and is not affiliated with OpenAI.

What does Decisions pricing look like?

Per official documentation (unchecked against your account): uncached input is about $0.10 per 1M tokens for gpt-6-luna on /v1/decisions, with no output token charge. Confirm on your OpenAI billing page.

Can input include images or JSON?

Yes. Official docs allow text, messages, tools, input_json, and images as base64 data URLs or public HTTP(S) URLs. This helper starts with plain text input; extend the JSON for richer content.
